Dynamic Table is a DHTML widget that makes adding sortable tables to your website a breeze. Below you'll find a demo showing Dynamic Table in action. If you would like more information on Dynamic Table check out our home page.
The table below contains 4 columns and 100 rows of randomly generated data. It demonstrates the sorting speed of Dynamic Table on large tables and the ease with which it handles nested elements.
To sort a column just click on the column header. You can show/hide columns in the table buy right clicking or control clicking on the table header.
The programmer is not required to manually define the sort functions for each column. Even though each column contains different sorts of information and some columns contain nested elements, Dynamic Table is able to intelligently decide how to sort each column.
The functionality of Dynamic Table is easily extended, in this demo the sort function is modified to measure the time taken and display it in the box below.
Have you ever seen another table sort script that works with anywhere near this sort of speed?
The buttons demonstrate how to trigger a sort manually.
